Introduction to the greyhound

Let me introduce my self, my name is Chris, I live in south west London with my 3 teenage children and 4 adopted greyhounds.

I left school at the age of 16 and went to work with racing greyhounds where my love for the greyhound was born.

Pictured left is me with the gang of 4 as they are affectionally known, from left to right Whoopie, Gilly, (pronounced Jilly), Maisie and far right Billy. Whoopie and Maisie are litter sisters, and are now 10 years old, billy and Gilly are both7.

The aim of this website is to show that there is no reason to stop at just 1 or even 2 greyhounds. There are so many retired greyhounds looking for loving homes. Greyhounds do make fantastic pets, they are beautiful dogs who,once they have been retired from their racing careers tend to spend a lot of time just lazing the day away. Which give them the title 40mph couch potato.

Since I first constructed this website I have homed another black retired racer by the name of Rosie, The gang as they are affectionally called are now the gang of 5, with Rosie being the baby at the tender age of 8.
